Right now, I'm hopeful that the subgenre can make a leap forward. There are so many SF shows on television that are doing well and Susan Kearney made the USA Today Bestseller list with at least one of her futuristic books for Tor. I'm hoping this means the subgenre is gaining more audience.<BR/><BR/>I just can't forget, though, that the last time futuristics were growing they ended up crashing and burning and there were hardly any new ones for years. I guess I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.<BR/><BR/>Did I answer your question?
