Or if it doesn't, I have to decide if it serves a purpose. Frex, a setting with sunshine and flowers would be good for a light hearted story OR if it's being used to contrast to the characters mood/thoughts or even to foretell a change coming (ie beautiful day but dark clouds on horizon).
