I so looked forward to seeing it, since it was supposed to be based on a novel by Andre Norton (one of my favorite all time authors) But there was so little of the book left in the movie that I was really disappointed. I did like Marc's nicely buff appearance though :D

When I was a kid, I just sort of snuck around and watched the 'scary' movies after my mom and dad went to bed. Picture an idiot kid, sitting in the livingroom with only the glow from the television set providing any light and the sound turned down so it wouldn't wake anyone else up :D It was a lot of fun but probably what warped me into who I am now, LOLLynda K. Though I did get a sequel, because Fabio had a bit part.

One of the older movies that gave me nightmares as a child was The Beastmaster. Loved the concept, but was totally wigged out by the torture scene in the dungeon. My mom warned me not to watch, but of course I told her I could handle it.

Then there were my tween years when my mom told my twin & I we couldn't watch The Terminator. Can I just say that was so wrong in so many ways, well except for that hot scene in the hotel. That was pushing the limits at the time. Anyhow, my sister became obsessed with Linda Hamilton/exercise and I was blown away by the the idea of time travel with a sci-fi twist.

Hmm...that could be the reason my last futuristic was a terminator tale with an X-manesque cast. :0)Skylar Maseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09940870700805648514noreply@blogger.com
