TS: That deep down, though we think we know ourselves, or maybe we know ourselves better than we want to let on, that sometimes accepting our frailties and dealing with them, can help us to overcome our obstacles and find our dream.
TS: Forbidden love! I find it sort of reoccurs in several of my stories. Also, that women can do anything they put their minds to if they give themselves half the chance. That people can change, even if they believe they are the way they are and have been this way too long to change…they can. Half the battle is recognizing that a transformation needs to be made.
TS: Oregon. A SEAL in Wolf’s Clothing is set on the Oregon coast, and it’s a beautiful place to visit. It seemed perfect for a SEAL also!
TS: Unknowns. I love the underdog, so I would like to see a new actor and actress on the scene. Sometimes the actor seems to be the same person whether he’s a police investigator, knight, family man, or assassin. Different costume, same character. So I would love to have unknowns in the leading roles. I know, it wouldn’t make for a blockbuster movie…but I still love the underdogs. What can I say?
TS: The one that appeals to them the most! I’m an eclectic reader and so I read a variety of different books all the time. I couldn’t say what others might like. I work at a library and have to recommend books, and so what I do is look up an author on Amazon, and find out what readers are buying besides that one author’s works to find similar reads, especially when it’s a genre I don’t read. So what should anyone read? Whatever appeals to them the most!
TS: I can’t say because my favorite characters are the ones I’m working on right that moment. I get so involved in their lives that they are real. Each and every one of them. Their weaknesses, their strengths, who they are as a person. They’re not just flat characters written in ink, but real people who deserve real love. :) So right now, I’m concentrating on Tom in his story, one of the Silver brothers from Destiny of the Wolf. And Cearnach and his story from Heart of the Highland Wolf, The Highland Wolf Wedding.
TS: Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with the Wind. She was so awful! I wanted her so to love Rhett Butler and give up that lame Ashley! But her characterization was so memorable that it’s always stuck with me. I always think of her standard: I’ll just think about it tomorrow and how so unlike her I am! But how sometimes I’d like to just say that—I’ll just think about it tomorrow and for today, not worry about anything I don’t wish to concern myself with for the rest of the day!
